**LuCkY ChAi FuNg**

International Conference on Food Research (ICFR) is organized by Faculty of Food Science and Technology, UPM from 22-24th November 2010 at Marriott Hotel, Putrajaya.

At first, I registered for oral presentation, half way, I changed to poster presentation, and at the end, I quited for the conference due to some reasons. I was upset that time yet no choice, but to accept it. The day finally came, yesterday was the first day for the conference. I received call from my bestie telling me that one of my labmates won’t be able to go for the conference, I meant, first day of conference. Later on, I received sms from my other labmate asking me to go. They feel empty without me (touched by the word a lot, thanks to all of you)…
Later on, my other friend told me they are going to the conference at 12pm. So coincidentally, I was having discussion till 12 pm sharp. Having myself changed in formal clothing in 5 minutes, I went to the conference with them.

It took more than words to express how thankful I am! I really feel so blessed! Strongly believe that, I was bornt to have some luck! Angel is always there giving lucks to me and I just appreciate it a lot! My labmates (kak noorlis) said to me yesterday: “ You are lucky, bornt to have such luck”.

No regret, as I made it also at the end to the conference, having sitting there to listen to the presentation by some speakers at the food safety session!

The BioMalaysia Conference is Malaysia’s largest international biotechnology conference held annually in Kuala Lumpur. The exhibition is started 011110 till 031110 whereas conference will be held on 021010 till 031010. Location at KLCC...

please pay a visit there for those who had not registered online as registration on the spot as visitor is allowed.

I am late for the online registration as well, but, i am going to go there on 031110 to catch some of the talk by companies!

thanks all my labmates who gave me sweet memories this few days...SO now it is the time to come back to the reality, gonna continue my thesis and paper writing! i shall blog about food safety issue in coming days, specially dedicated to food safety lab 2, WE ARE HAPPY FAMILY~

Highlight of day 2 was…FINALLY, I met Prof. Buchi from Japan!

It was just a coincidence that we saw the name of Prof. Buchi in the participant list, and it was the greatest pleasure and luck to meet him in such conference.

He is a nice professor whom I would say, thumb up, I respect him. I remembered how he helped me in my first paper, giving me good suggestion and comments, and even helped me for revision of paper before my first paper on my project getting accepted and published online.

He is a polite professor and talk nicely to all of us, concerning about our progress! Thanks Prof Buchi from Japan. I sincerely wish Prof Buchi granted with best health all the time. Take care Prof. Buchi!

Also, this was the day that my labmates and I went to watch movie at penang, wonderful~thanks for the treat,kak noorlis, yummy, delicious of the localities~

Here comes the first day of the conference. I was attracted by the name tag and the file given by the participants, very well organized. I bet the organizer had put much effort in it!














One thing good about conference is "free food", hehe, i think many of us (student) loved this one the most. Cheers, all the food prepared in G-hotel for breakfast, lunch and dinner were delicious!

~i love the day 1~

One day before the conference started, we headed to penang in Kak Noorlis's car. We departed at about 11am in the morning and took about 5 hours to reach there as we stopped for lunch.
















I contacted my dearest ex-coursemates cum bffs in penang~so nice seah yang a.k.a. yang, kok lim a.k.a. pisces, and sue lyn a.k. a. lyn were too willing to spare out their time to meet me, thanks dearies~

thanks for the dinner, hehe, all were delicious, i just loved penang kueh tiao and laksa very much, the taste was much better when it was with you all, cheers.I" remembered pisces keep on asking me, "what you want to eat?" doumo arigatou gozaimasu~as what i promised, i gonna treat all of you once i stepp into working society and once i get back to hometown. SSB friends, i gonna wait you all in kuching next time!



































We went to hard rock hotel which has very wonderful view. I wanna get myself a better camera so that i can capture all the sceneries. I am aiming for a photo shooting one day for my families, friends, and scene.
